As if that wasnt enough, attacking with Sephiroth lets you sacrifice a bunch of creatures to draw cards

It revolves around control -- card advantage and tempo advantage -- and Serra Angel played the double duty of offense and defense each turn

Scavenging Ooze is along similar lines to Deathrite Shaman as a life gain card but is narrower in application and of lower power hence the lower rating on this list
